Restaurant Metal Components

The Industrial Grade Aluminum filter uses an aluminum frame to enclose two layers of flat expanded aluminum and three to five layers of corregated aluminum. This is a versatile and strong, yet lightweight filter that provides great corrosion resistance in most atmospheres. Best used in environments where the filter will be cleaned moderately. It filters air, grease, or cooling mists and is used in heaters, air-conditioners commercial filter housings, restaurants, commercial kitchen hoods and canopies, and machine shop ventilating equipment.

The HIS filter uses a stainless steel frame to enclose two layers of expanded aluminum three to five layers of corregated aluminum. This is a rugged and durable filter that provides the greatest corrosion resistance. Should be cleaned moderately. It filters air, grease, or cooling mists and is used in heaters, air-conditioners commercial filter housings, restaurants, commercial kitchen hoods and canopies, and machine shop ventilating equipment.

Aluminum Filter

The THRIFT-AIRE filter is a six layer filtering element, processed from sheet Aluminum commercially known as 3003-H14 .025 thickness, expanded to .20 strand at specific feeds to assure maximum filtering and internal loading capabilities. The frame is made from sheet aluminum, roll formed to the exact specifications needed to create a solid filter. Corners are mitered and secured in one of those corners by rivets. Filter units will retain 290 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20x20 filter). Resistance, when clean, is 0.05w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum resistance at capacity is 0.335 w.g. The THRIFT-AIRE will withstand temperatures up to 240 degrees F. This light weight Aluminum filter was designed to be used in air handling units, roof top units, light industrial and home applications

Premium Grade Smith Steel Filter

The HEAVY DUTY filter element consists of 8 layers of aluminum commercially known as 3003-H14, .025 thickness expanded to .050 strand. The front layer of expanded is extra rigid to give additional strength to the filter. The frame is made from sheet aluminum, .040 thickness joined by heavy rivets at one corner. This heavy Aluminum filter will retain 585 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20x20 filter) of filter area. Resistance when clean is .077 w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum temperature range of the Smith HEAVY DUTY is 275 degrees F. The HEAVY DUTY Aluminum filter is designed for extra rugged use in high capacity heating and air conditioning units, plus other applications where a rugged aluminum filter is required.

The Galvanized Industrial Grade Filter is a medium weight Galvanized filter, made with a hot dipped Galvanized Steel frame. No less than six layers of expanded steel, laid at right angles to each other, make up this pad. This filter element is processed from sheet steel, commercially known as hot dip Galvanized, no less than .0157 in thickness, expanded through no less than .020 feed. The PERM-A-STEEL filter will retain 290 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20 x 20). Resistance when clean is 0.05 at 350 FPM. Maximum capacity is 0.335 w.g. Frames are made from sheets of hot dip Galvanized Steel. The maximum temperature range for the Smith PERM-A-STEEL is 425 degrees F.

The Grade II filter is a seven layer mesh filter, made from Galvanized Steel, commercially known as Hot Dip G-90, 28 gauge in thickness, expanded through .032 feed. Frames are made from 24 gauge Hot Dip G-90 Galvanized Steel. This heavy Steel filter will retain 300 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20 x 20 filter) of filter area. Resistance when clean is .075 w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum temperature range for this stainless steel filter is 450 degrees F.

Filter elements are processed from Stainless Steel sheets, expanded to .032 strand. Frames are made from This filter will retain 300 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft. (20 x 20 filter) of filter area. Resistance when clean is .075 w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum temperature range for the SUPER STAINLESS STEEL is 900 degrees F. The STAINLESS STEEL filter is designed for applications that require the utmost in filtering ability.
